The Hunters for the Hungry is so very blessed by every financial gift we receive! As we are charged to do as hunters and humans to be good stewards of the wildlife and all resources that we are given so Hunters for the Hungry strives to be good stewards of every dollar given to our program.
We are currently processing venison for 1.50 cents per pound compared to similar cuts of beef that can range in cost from $5.00 – $20.00 per pound.
Our program fundraising and administration costs are only 14% of every dollar, which means 86% of all monies go toward program operation, which is primarily covering processing costs associated with the deer donated to our program which yields the venison we provide to food-banks, missions, churches, and pantries statewide. For every DOLLAR we raise or receive we can process and distribute over 3 quarter pound servings of high protein low fat red meat to men, women, and children who struggle with hunger!

GENERAL DONATION
To make a general donation to our program, simply enter your name, select the amount, under the heading “Select a Gift Purpose” use the drop-down box to find the option “General Donation”. You follow the rest of the prompts through the process and this will allow a financial gift to be made to our program.
EVENT SPONSORSHIP / UNDERWRITING
To provide us with a SPONSORSHIP of a golf tournament, a sporting clays, or any other event, OR if you’d like to help underwrite a banquet or informational dinner event, begin by entering your name, select the amount you would like to provide or the level / amount of the sponsorship you wish to do. Then enter the amount, under the heading “Select a Gift Purpose” simply use the drop-down box to find the option for “Sponsorship”. In the “Dedicated To” section you would type in the name of the event you wish to sponsor or underwrite. In the “Comments section” you can provide the text you would like on your sponsor sign or program recognition to read as well as donor information, i.e. address, phone number, website address, etc. If you have a logo you would like added, please e-mail your logo to hunt4hungy@cs.com. You then follow the rest of the prompts through the process and this will allow you to help support our fundraising events in such a big way!
EVENT TICKETS / EVENT ENTRY FEE
If you would like to purchase tickets to a banquet / dinner event or to pay an entry fee into a sporting clays or other HFTH event simply enter your name in the first box, then the amount in the second box. Third box you will find the drop down box which will allow you to select the option “Event tickets / Entry fee” . Select this option and then in the next section “Dedicated to” you can note the event for which the amount is to go toward. In the “Comments section” you can then put if it is for a single ticket, couples ticket, an incentive table, or for an entry into a sporting clays events and which one! You would then follow the rest of the prompts to complete this transaction.

If you would like to make a financial gift in this manner start by entering your name, then in the second box the amount, then in the section “Select Gift Purpose” use the drop down box and select the “In Honor / In Memory” option. Then move to the “Dedicated To” section where you can enter the name of the person for whom you are making your gift.
In the “Comments/Notes” section please provide the following: If the honoree is living please provide the address of the donor, and the address for the honoree. This way we can send a card you to the donor and to the person you are honoring to let them know a gift was made in their honor and how many servings it will provide to those in need!
IN MEMORY DONATIONS
If the people you are in memory of are loved ones, lifelong friends, hunting partners, or just those who have touched their life in a special way or have passed, please once again note your name, an amount, and the name of the person in the “Dedicated To” section. You would need to again provide your address as the donor and then if possible a contact name for the honoree’s next of kin, spouse, son, daughter, etc. along with their address so a card can be sent to them letting them know about this gift. If you are able provide us with the Obituary or name of the funeral home handling arrangements as many times we can get information there to assist and / or a photo to possibly put in our newsletter honoring these special people and gifts.
